happy day after thanksgiving...

ok...so i forgot to post yesterday...hope everybody back home had a happy turkey day! here, things were business-as-usual...i did, however, make a couple pumpkin pies for the teachers and some of the students...i thinked they liked it, even if some of them were weirded out by the idea at first. it was a great way to discover all the supermarkets in lille...it took a couple stops to hunt down all the ingredients...but hey, now i know how to make it from scratch...no more canned pumpkin for me!!
the past few days have been beautiful here...really cold, but sunny...and i'm really enjoying all my free time (enjoying the present and whatnot)...lots of lunches and drinks with friends...but lately it's been nice to just walk around town with my iPod...wednesday was a particularly good day for that...a nice stroll down rue National with "goodbye sky harbor" blasting in my headphones...i am but one small instrument....
